Dancehall Memories

Historian Dr James Nott, of St Andrews University, is currently researching the social and cultural history of dancing and dance halls in Scotland between 1920 and 1960.
As part of the study, Dr Nott is asking people to complete an online survey to share their memories. You can view it by clicking here: www.standrews.ac.uk/history/dancehalls
In July, he also plans to conduct some oral history interviews with people in the central belt who went dancing from the in and around those times. He would love to hear from groups who could put him in touch with potential interviewees.
